The Heavenly Demon Sword, translated in the novel as the Sky Demon Sword or also called Arisha's Sword is a deep black yet beautiful sword used by Cheon Ma during his time as Demon God.
Background[]
While the exact date of this sword's creation is unknown, it likely dates back to the first generation of the Demon. While its material remains unknown, it is incredibly hard, unmatched by any other substance on Earth. After this, it will function as part of the Sword Arisha's Armor Set.
History[]
The Heavenly Demon Sword only appeared near the end of the Side Story of Mystic Might Mayhem, with the arrival of Taura. After Cheon Ma defeated him, he reclaimed his former sword from his past life as the Demon God.
Though the Heavenly Demon Sword is most strongly associated with the Heavenly Demon and became a symbolic weapon in the history of the Demonic Cult, paradoxically, he wielded it for only a short time. He used it to slay Imoogi as part of his crusade against all dangerous creatures he encountered, those that could potentially threaten humanity in his absence. He left the sword behind during absorption of the Earth Dragon’s energy as both a gift and an arrangement for his future descendant, Cheon Yeo Woon.
The Heavenly Demon eventually realized that the Blade God had not died in their battle, despite his body being dismembered, his heart pierced, and his remains devoured by earth monster shortly after their fight. Yet, all traces of him had vanished. The Heavenly Demon also knew that one day, a descendant of his would emerge, one strong enough to face this looming threat. Through a vision of the future, he witnessed Sky Flash being performed by Cheon Yeo Woon. This vision was granted by the Sacred Orb of the Fire Faith Order, which was, in truth, a fragment of his own being.
For this reason, he abandoned his old weapon from his days as the Demon God. In truth, he no longer needed it, as he had already acquired his two new true weapons: the Evil Commandment Sword and the Plundering-Killing Sword.
