Lee Gwang came from a loyal bloodline that had served Mokgan for generations. Because of this deep-rooted loyalty, he became one of Mokgan’s most trusted subordinates, so trusted, in fact, that Mokgan didn’t place any restriction or curse on him, unlike even the deputy leader of the First Division.
Recognizing his unwavering devotion, Mokgan personally bestowed upon Lee Gwang a powerful artifact, a black sword forged from the scales of the Dragon Demon King. Crude in appearance but brimming with dreadful energy, the sword was meant to be Lee Gwang’s ultimate trump card in desperate times.
