Mok Gyeongwoon, also known by his birthname Jeong, is the central protagonist of Myst, Might, Mayhem. He is a powerful martial artist and shaman. He was once a boy who lived as an ordinary herb gatherer with his grandfather before he was cruelly murdered. Enraged, Jeong went on a rampaging killing spree in an attempt to get revenge on the murderer, but he was defeated and later arrested.
Imprisoned and on death row for his crimes, he was approached by the young master of the Mok Sword Manor, Mok Gyeongwoon who wanted to use him as a body double, but Jeong murdered his look-alike and took the young master place as "Mok Gyeongwoon".
He is a central supporting character of the sequel series, Nano Machine that is currently in serialization as a manhwa with it following the life story and journey of his descendant, Cheon Yeo Woon and its sequel, Descent of the Demon God.
Appearance[]
Jeong is very handsome, has dark blue eyes and dark blue hair. He is so handsome that he could be mistaken as a woman.
Personality[]
Jeong is unflinchingly ruthless that even evil spirits, villains, and ordinary people are terrified of his murderous nature and would rather obey him than oppose with him. He is clever with quick witted intelligence that he fully uses alongside his deep curiosity. He is also known for his smile as he always finds the time to smile no matter the situation.
He has been shown to possess sociopath tendencies that he used to keep secretly hidden, which his grandfather often told him to never reveal to anyone but after his grandfather's death, he longer felt any need to hide his extreme side which has grown to the point that he that finds it enjoyable no matter how many people die in front him. However, Jeong isn't entirely cold as he cared for his late grandfather and always made sure to listen to his advice before his death.
History[]
Having been raised by his grandfather in the mountains, Jeong and his grandfather made a living through foraging and selling herbs. One day, when Jeong came home from foraging, he found his grandfather cut in half. However, instead of shedding tears, Jeong vows revenge toward his grandfather's killer. Without his grandfather to keep his hidden nature in check, Jeong went on a killing spree while chasing down the killers, quickly earning his first title "Scythe Slaughter Demon". In the end, despite having caught up to his grandfather's killers, he is gravely injured and swiftly subdued by them. This results in his arrest and death penalty.
Following his arrest, he is visited by Mok Gyeongwoon, the third young master of the Great Mok Sword Family who's appearance is identical to his and his guard, Guard Kam. Mok Gyeongwoon proposes to him to become his body double, promising to free him from his death sentence and letting him enjoy the priveleges of being a Young Master. Jeong accepts it and is given a poison to ensure loyalty, with the promise of an antidote after he completes his task. However, as Mok Gyeongwoon and Guard Kam turned their back to leave the prison, Jeong took the oppurtunity to break Mok Gyeongwoon's neck, having exclaimed "the fake is dead". Having stolen his identity, "Mok Gyeongwoon" returned to the Mok Sword Manor where he was immediately grounded in a room to ensure that he does not come into contact with the others residents of the Mok Sword Manor. Now known as "Mok Gyeongwoon", Jeong must navigate the world of murim and exact revenge upon his grandfather's murderers while also figuring out what his identity really is!

Trivia[]
- Sima Chak demonstrated his sword technique, the "Moonless Void Sword," several times for Mok Gyeon Un as a gesture of gratitude for indirectly helping his former subordinate's spirit. This act inspired him to begin creating his first sword technique "The Heavenly Demonic Sword Art".[2]
- He became inspired to create his own swordsmanship in wanting to counter the swordsmanship techniques of the legendary swordsman, Jin Woon-Hwi.
- The golden nine-tailed fox is the first to called him "Cheonma" (Heavenly Demon), saying that he was not a being of righteousness (정, jeong) but one of demonic nature (마, ma). And seeing him fall from the sky/heaven (천, Cheon) as she delves into his deep memories.[3]
- It took him only 4–5 months to reach the Seventh Heaven, the pinnacle of the martial world. At that time, he was barely 18 years old.
- At the start, Mok Gyeon-Un was a psychopath and the embodiment of evil. As time passed, he began to understand emotions and gradually showed the qualities of a ruler. This growth wasn't just about physical power, but also about personal development and change.
- Jin Woon-hwi encounters Mok Gyeon-un in the form of a thought, engaging in a brief fight meant as a test. Although Jin Woon-hwi attempts to teach Mok Gyeon-un some principles of the Way of Immortals to aid in his battle against his final enemy, Mok Gyeon-un bluntly refuses, having already gained enlightenment through their battle. In that moment, Jin Woon-hwi realizes that Mok Gyeon-un truly doesn’t need a master, he is someone destined to create his own path.[4]
